Denver Broncos Chaplancy

It all started when...

This last Spring I was contacted by both our AIA leadership and Denver Broncos Player Personnel staff asking if I would consider becoming the chaplain of the Denver Broncos. Initially Allyson and I were floored that they would consider us and immediately we thought about the strain the role could put on our schedule and ministry workload. We decided to investigate more and enter into conversations to see what they were looking for and if it would be a role that we could serve in while doing what we currently do within Athletes in Action.

After taking time to listen, talk, pray, fast and get counsel... I decided to say yes to this opportunity. We both serve the Denver Broncos by facilitating Men's Bible Study for coaches and players and Allyson facilitates a ministry for players wives.  

Be praying for our work with these great men and women. They have such incredible opportunities to influence others and we want to be a resource for them and the organization. My hope is that Allyson and I can come alongside these athletes (and wives) who have an incredible platform in our culture and help them see their athletic platform as an opportunity to live for eternal things.
